Lee’s newest approach: Design-It-With-You™
When I first met Lee, I thought that I could not afford to work with her. Now, I feel that I cannot afford to NOT work with her! ~Fay

Sometimes a professional can help – even if in only aspect of the project.
When I started my design business in 2002, it was because I was fed up with the corporate Architectural world not putting the client first. There were always some politics, or budget that needed to be addressed and I felt the clients’ needs were being placed second. I felt this was unfair to the ones that were paying for the projects, and the ones that ultimately would be using the spaces we were designing.
All those years ago, I left the corporate Architectural world to start my own businesses in order to right this wrong and to place my emphasis on the things that I felt were important. My philosophy was based on that the fact that my priority was to bring good design to all people. I still feel today that everyone deserves to have the benefit of great design in their lives –not just the rich or those with more disposable income. I strive to bring great design to everyone.
This goal is still a grounding principal in my work. My approach has always been a hand-holding via the Socratic Method. I ask my clients questions so you can come to the conclusions that you need to about the style and type of space that suits you best. Sometimes I am so good at this, you may feel that you have designed the space yourself.
To me, this is a great success!
My newest incarnation, Design-It-With-You™ is the very foundation of this collaborative and interactive approach. With the DIWY™ approach, you can get exactly what professional advice that you feel you need. It is as simple as that.
Design projects are very linear and there are steps that one needs to take to complete them no matter what size, or style the projects ultimately are. In my book, Feng Shui Tips: Home Renovations, I outline the process in a very detailed manner and demonstrate through stories of my project experiences of what works, and what does not, when one skips the necessary steps during the design and renovation process. I know this only from my years of experience and specialized training and you can have access to my depth of knowledge too.
Design-It-With-You™ places you in complete control. It is designed specifically for the person that wants to navigate some of the project themselves but is aware that either through lack of experience, knowledge or simply time, that sometimes a professional is needed to help at certain steps. You can ask for the help in any area you feel you need it.
